Global Valuations founder and owner, Ken Jones, has been a real estate broker, appraiser and consultant since 1971 and holds Certified General Real Estate Appraiser licenses in several states.

Mr. Jones also holds two Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designations from the American Society of Appraisers, one in Real Property/Urban, and the other in the highly specialized discipline of Machinery and Technical Specialties: Mines & Quarries.

In fact, Mr. Jones is 1 of only 5 people who currently hold this highly specialized professional designation, and is the only person who holds both the specialized Mines & Quarries designation and the Real Property/Urban designation.

Among his many credits, Mr. Jones served as Acting Senior Review Appraiser (GS-14) for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), has been appointed a Condemnation Commissioner by the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey, and has served as an expert witness in various federal, state and local jurisdictions in the United States

In 1992, he founded the Institute of Real Estate Technologies, a professional education service that provides specialized seminars to real estate, legal and business professionals throughout the United States. In addition to having written numerous appraisal courses and seminars, Ken’s also written several articles on various topics related to all types of real property.

Mr. Jones has also provided commercial mortgage underwriting, cash-flow analysis and portfolio review to such major mortgage backed securities firms as Chase Commercial Mortgage Bank (NY), Citicorp Securities (NY), Deutsche Bank (NY), and the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York.
